Travis and April were amazing hosts. I have never hunted through an outfitter before so I was a little nervous. They made us feel right at home. The food was amazing! Justus was a great guide and very kind as well. We plan on making many trips and starting new traditions!
Whitetail Deer Hunts
Judging by the hordes of non-Texans that flock here during whitetail deer season , the Texas Panhandle can rightfully lay claim to being one of the premier whitetail deer destinations in North America. And with more than four million white-tailed deer scattered across the state, there’s no shortage of opportunities to bag a trophy. Not all guided hunts are created equal. That’s where All American Outfitter is different!
We’ve been here for 27 years and hunting is our only business. Owners have leased small to medium size parcels of private land in the ever emerging “honey hole” of the Texas panhandle for free ranging monster whitetails. In recent years, the Texas panhandle has produced record buck scoring bucks. Often compared to Kansas strain whitetails- they have huge bodies in the 180-240 pound field dressed range and often heavy, massive antlers.
Mule Deer Hunts
Mule deer hunting in Texas has often been overlooked. This has been a “best kept secret,” but is emerging on a national level. Hunters in search of big mule deer on large, free ranging acreages are hungry for trophy quality mule deer. Big mule deer are currently the hardest trophy species to find in North America.
Mule deer are on the decline in many western states, but remain on the increase in west Texas. Texas Mule Deer trophy quality and game management practices continue to improve.
Texas is estimated to be home to over 250,000 mule deer and is fast becoming a key destination for hunters in search of 155- 200+ class deer at affordable prices. Mature bucks can weigh up to 300 pounds in the Panhandle.
